| Bio | Dr. Scandrett is an Anglican priest (ACNA) and Director of the Robert E. Webber Center at Trinity School for Ministry. He is a graduate of Wheaton College and Graduate School, where he studied with Robert Webber and discovered the “common roots” of ancient Christianity. He received his PhD in Historical and Systematic Theology in 2005 from Drew University, where he studied under Thomas Oden and served as both Research Director and Translations Project Director for the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture. Subsequent to his doctoral program, he worked as an academic editor for InterVarsity Press, while also serving as assistant priest and interim rector in several Anglican churches in the Chicago area. While at IVP, Dr. Scandrett was also an editor and member of the board of reference for “A Call to an Ancient Evangelical Future.” He acquired and edited one of Bob Webber’s final books: Who Gets to Narrate the World?. Since leaving IVP in 2008, he has taught systematic and historical theology at Trinity School for Ministry, Wheaton College, Northern Seminary, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. |
